Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and located in Kapilvastu district of Nepal and has been declared as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It is small town in the southern Terai plains is 306kms from Kathmandu. Lord Buddha was born in 623 BC in Lumbini. Many Buddhist pilgrims came here to worship every years. The tourist attractions of Lumbini are the Sacred Garden, Maya Devi Temple, Puskani Pond, Ashokan Pillar, Buddha Temple and Lumbini Museum. The Sacred Garden where Buddha was born converges on the Ashoka pillar, which carries an inscription identifying the spot as the birthplace of Buddha. The Lumbini Museum has a large collection of the Mauryan and Kushana coins, religious manuscripts, terracotta fragments and stone and metal sculptures.


  • Day 1:

    Kathmandu Arrival – Overnight in Kathmandu

    Your Arrival Time – Airport pickup and transfer to your Hotel. Welcome drink and check-in.

  • Day 2:

    Overnight in Kathmandu

    After Breakfast – Full day sightseeing of Swayambhunath Stupa / Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, and Boudhanath Stupa
    Optional: Everest Mountain Flight at 06:30AM

  • Day 3:

    Pick up at your hotel in Kathmandu and transfer to the domestic airport. Your flight will last around 45 minutes from Kathmandu to Bhairahawa airport, and then the drive about 45 minutes between Bhairahawa and Lumbini. We will drive you to your hotel in Lumbini.
    Later, you will be given a half day tour of religious Buddhist monuments accompanied with a professional guide; this will be done after you have refreshed at your hotel.

  • Day 4:

    Exploring Lumbini for a Full Day

    Lumbini is one of the world’s major religious, architectural, and historical sites. We devote our time today in visiting as many places and sites in Lumbini as possible. The place is really a big area with monuments, temples, and ancients sites making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. First we visit the Mayadevi temple which is built on the exact place where Buddha was born. We spend some time wandering around the gardens. We also visit the museum and peace pagoda. Some of the important landmarks and monuments in Lumbini include: Ashoka’s Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka (249 BC) at the spot of Buddha’s birthplace which also has the oldest inscription in Nepal. There are many Buddhist Temples founded by devotees from different countries: they include Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese and Burmese, Korean, etc. Overnight at Lumbini.

  • Day 5:

    After breakfast drive from Lumbini to Palpa Tansen,We will do a few hours of sightseeing in Palpa Tansen. Then we will continue our journey to Pokhara. Overnight at selected hotel in Pokhara.


  • Day 6:

    Pokhara Valley Sightseeing with tour guide.

    Gupteshwor cave,
    Seti river banishing,
    International Mountain Museum,
    Bindabasini temple,
    Barahi temple,
    Bat cave.

  • Day 7: Early in the morning our private car/van will drive to Sarangkot (30 minutes) and (30minutes walking) Sarangkot hill (Top)

    We may see beautiful mountains views of Dhaulagiri 8,167m, Manaslu 8,163m and Annapurna 8,091m and, in the middle of the Annapurna range, the Machhapuchhre 6,993m (Fishtail) and best sunrise. After that you will drive back to Pokhara and have breakfast and we will take a flight back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 8: Kathmandu: Departure Day

    Our team will drop you to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure.
