Despite what others says, the Himalayan Kingdom, Nepal is indeed an ultimate outdoor-sports or extreme adventure destination. Whether from trekking, climbing, mountaineering, expeditions, Bungee jumping, white water rafting, mountain biking, zip flyer and much more, Nepal houses them all.
Indeed, Nepal is widely known for trekking, its world-class rapids, and enchanting and exhilarating mountain descents offers great opportunity for mountain bike lovers. Nepal’s many cycling tracks are best suited to more experienced riders. Although, the most of mountain biking holidays can be done on your own relying on directions provided by local inhabitants, hiring a mountain biking guide or arranging your mountain biking holidays through us will make life significantly easier.
Day 1: Kathmandu: Arrival Day
Namaste and welcome to Nepal and the start of our adventure! We’ll be waiting with a warm greeting and transfer to your hotel. We’ll have a final briefing in the evening regarding our itinerary and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
After breakfast, we will proceed for sightseeing of Kathmandu valley by visiting Pashupatinath, Boudhanath stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Hanuman Dhoka. Afterwards, we will halt for lunch. The rest of time is free
Day 3: (03-04 days) - Bungee jumping & canyoning
After breakfast drive to Tibet border where real extreme adventure with Bungee jumping, Rafting and Canyoning awaits for you. For adrenaline seekers this destination a significant highlight of entire holiday! So you will perform a Bungee jump off from a suspension bridge 160-metres towards the wild Bhote Kosi River. We will spend next couple of nights here to experience the real adventure that Nepal has to offer. All meals, Bungee jumping & canyoning is included.
Day 5: (05-06 days) - Rafting at Sun Kosi & Bhote Kosi
Today, we will conquer Nepal’s wildest rivers. We will enjoy 2 days rafting. We will halt our night stay at the riverside camp. All meals are included.
Day 7: Kathmandu – Pokhara
After breakfast, we will start our day with a journey to Pokhara; the most beautiful tourist destination. Along with our drive, we enjoy cascading view of Trisuli River, deep river valleys and terraced rice fields just before we finally reach to the lakeside town of Pokhara.
Day 8: Pokhara – Jomsom
After early breakfast, we start our day with what is described as the world’s most dramatic plane journey, a spectacular mountain flight to Jomsom. Jomsom is the heart of the Kali Gandaki Valley (also regarded as the world’s deepest valley). After collecting our belongings, we settle down a bit to have breakfast. Then after, we will embark on one of the most iconic mountain bike rides of your life to the town of Kagbeni that sits at the elevation of 2,900m. Overnight at lodge.
Day 9: Kagbeni – Muktinath – Kagbeni
After breakfast, we start climbing in the Mustang region. Today will be our climbing day in the Mustang region. Our today’s climbing sees gaining height from Kagbeni at 2,900m to Muktinath at 3,800m. Once we reach at Muktinath, we will halt for lunch before embarking a stunning single-track descent. During our descent journey, we will pass through Nepalese villages before taking us onto a fast, open descent back down to Kagbeni. Overnight at lodge.
Day 10: Kagbeni – Jharkot – Marpha
After breakfast, the day starts with a shuttle up to Jharkot, which lies to the proximity of Muktinath. We off-load the bikes and start a 300m ascent to the breath-taking trail through the Lubra Pass at 4,100m. After 300m ascent, we will descend onto one of the leading track highlights of the journey to Marpha (2,700m). Marpha valley is known as apple growing region of the Mustang valley. Overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Marpha – Tatopani
After breakfast, we begin our ride through Kali Gandaki; known as the world’s deepest valley lies between the two 8,000m giants Mount Annapurna and Mount Dhaulagiri.
During the course of our rides, we criss-cross the valley on seamless single-track and enormous suspension bridges that links village after village in the Mustang region, providing the locals with a trade route and means of communication. Our today’s ride comes into end in the hot spring town of Tatopani. Overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Tatopani – Beni – Pokhara
After breakfast, we star our few hours riding on rough trails. Indeed, the tracks are rough and dirty but that’s an experience as we are mountain biking in Nepal, the country where rough and dirty roads are fun! Upon reaching Beni, we pack our belongings and continue journey to Pokhara. Remaining time free for fresh up; evening enjoy nightlife at Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Pokhara Paragliding & Sightseeing
Today, we will have our day for mixture of activities. We begin our day with flying high i.e. Paragliding. Paragliding from the backdrop of majestic Annapurna; it’s not only an enchanting experience but also it is one of the best places to paraglide in the world. Afterwards, we proceed for sightseeing of Pokhara valley where explore Pokhara, its lively markets, boating in Fewa lake. If you want to add more thrill into your adventure then, motorcycling through the doorstep of Himalayas should not be missed (at your own cost). Overnight at hotel.
Day 14: Pokhara – Kathmandu
Today we plan our return journey back to Kathmandu following the gorge of the Trisuli River. Farewell dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant, before retiring for the night.
Day 15: Extend your trip or Final departure.
You may want to consider extending your trip with endless activities such as the Chitwan Jungle Safari & many more. If you are departing then our representative will drop you off at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport a few hours before the scheduled flight. Namaste and we hope to see you again soon!
